May we be ever-drawn to what we love.
I remember being a young girl with a tape recorder in my bedroom. I would record my favorite songs off the radio and talk between them. A radio DJ in the making.
Music, writing, art, making this place a little bit better, a little more tolerable. This is what I’m about. From running an indie record label, to teaching art to kids out of my garage — I conspire to bring more beauty into the world. More connection. More fun.
I’m driven by the idea of our innate creativity and believe that we all — each and every one of us — have a spark inside. A flame to fan. A weird and wonderful genius.
As a creator and as a person who has walked alongside many creators, I know that the more we open to our genius, and the more we allow ourselves to be drawn to what we love, the happier we are and the better life gets.
Art, music, writing: these have saved me. They’re what I love.
What do you love?
I want us to push into life, into the places we are afraid, into both the mystery and into that which feels most like home —and get curious.
What are we here to learn? To do? To leave behind?
